This Magento How To Guide provides easy instructions on how to download the Ship2Anywhere Magento extension

After logging in

1. After logging into the Magento admin panel for the first time after installing the Ship2Anywhere extension, you need to go to the configuration screen.

    1. Select ‘Yes’ to enable authorization, so that you could gain access to the Ship2Anywhere token.
    2. Choose ‘Sandbox’ before going live with the Ship2Anywhere extension. When you are ready to go live, select ‘Live’ from the drop-down box.
    3. You can upload a digital signature to be used on forms generated by the extension.

  1. Select your preferred settings for Domestic Shipping.
  2. While the settings for International Shipping is similar to that of Domestic Shipping, you could also set a flat rate according to geographic regions. Enter a region name in ‘Name’ and select the countries to add to that region. Hold down the control key on a PC or the option key on a Mac to select multiple countries.
  3. Tick the box to indicate that you agree to the Terms & Conditions of Ship2Anywhere Pty Ltd.

    Note: You can click ‘Save Config’ at any time, to save your work.

  4. Enter default vlaues for the most common dimensions & weight of your packages. These will only be used where product specific dimensions have not been entered on the ‘Manage Products’ screen (under the Catalog menu in the Magento admin panel).
  5. Select details for the deafult warehouse.
  6. You could also enter comments for parcels.
  7. Select ‘Yes’ to enable Order Status Filtration, or ‘No’ to do filter Orders manually.
  8. You could also select the types of order statuses shown in your ‘Manage Shipments’ grid.
  9. Select ‘Yes’ to enable Status Auto-Updating, and ‘No’ to perform the updates manually.

  1. To configure your warehouse settings, click on ‘Manage Warehouses’. Manage Warehouses
  2. You can search for specific warehouses with the Filter function. Search through any field i.e. Warehouse ID, Warehouse Name. Then, click ‘Search’.
  3. Here would be a complete listing of all the warehouses.
  4. To add a new warehouse listing, click ‘Add New’.
  5. To reset your Filter search, click ‘Reset Filter’.
  6. You can browse the number of pages with this tool.
  7. You can also arrange your viewing preferences (per page) with the dropdown list.

  8. To add a new warehouse, fill in the fields with an asterisk.
  9. Click ‘Save’ to add a new warehouse.
  10. If you wish to add the warehouse at a later time, click ‘Save and Continue Edit’.
  11. Click ‘Reset’ to clear all the fields.
  12. . Click ‘Back’ to return to the previous page.

  1. To manage your shipments, click on ‘Manage Shipments’ under Ship2Anywhere.

  2. You can search for specific shipments with the Filter function. Click on ‘Search’ (4) to conduct a search or ‘Reset Filter’ (5) to clear all fields.
  3. Once an order has been placed in the system, its order status would be ‘Pending’.
  4. You can arrange your viewing preferences (per page) with your drop-down list.
  5. There are various selections you can make i.e. Select All, Select Visible.
  6. To view/process a pending shipment, click ‘View’ under the Actions column.
    To delete a shipment, click ‘Delete’ within the drop-down list.

  1. At this stage, you can edit the Destination if needed.
  2. You could also change the choice of origin location.
  3. To add packages to be shipped, you could ‘Import from Above’ – which are the items ordered.
  4. Alternatively, you could also add a package manually.
  5. To manually alter the dimensions and weight of the package, you could do so by changing the values in the fields.
  6. To proceed, click on ‘Save and Get Quotes’.
  7. To return to the previous page, click ‘Back’.

    The day-to-day shipment processing workflow starts on the ‘Manage Shipment screen. The ‘Manage Shipments’ list mirrors the list of orders found under the Sales > Orders menu item in the Magento admin panel. The Origin Location warehouse is usually the default set under Configuration or the one associated with the Product record. Similarly, the product weight and dimensions will reflect the details associated with the product record or the default settings.

  8. Click on ‘Generate Insurance Amount’ to get insurance for the shipment.
  9. Select the type of Payment i.e. Stored Card, Credit.
  10. To update the details, click on ‘Update Cards’.
  11. To process the shipment, click ‘Accept’.
  12. To exit from this page, click ‘Cancel’.
  13. To return to the previous page, click ‘Back’.

  14. After you have clicked on ‘Accept’, it would process your shipment. The shipment status would initially show that it is ‘Processing’. This order status would also correspond to the main page of ‘Manage Shipments’ as: Shipment Processing Workflow 2
  15. Click on ‘Check Status’ to refresh the Order Status. The order status should be shown as ‘Processed’ shortly after.
  16. Click ‘Back’ to return to the previous page.

  1. To check/update Order Status, click on ‘Check Status’. The order status will correspond to the main dashboard: Shipment Processing Workflow 3
  2. To get the shipping documents, click ‘Get Documents’.
  3. To track the shipment, click on ‘Track’. It will redirect you to the Ship2Anywhere tracking page.

  1. Click on ‘Download’ to save the Shipping Documentation in pdf format.
  2. You do not have to scroll up to click on the buttons i.e. Check Status, Get Documents as it will appear as you navigate the page.
